Smitten's Proxy Pod in Hayes Valley Inches Closer to Launch

Proxy watch continues with this morning's shots of the Smitten Ice Cream pod, crane-dropped in Hayes Valley last week.

Owner Robyn Sue Goldman is reportedly scheduled to fire up the Kelvin machines Mar. 21, according to Eater (possible soft-launching opportunities TBD). In the meantime, the under-construction site has the same kind of appeal as one of those parking strips near the airport where you can watch planes land and take off.
