Recipes can be lengthy and challenging, but as we hope we're showing with our Twitter-Size Recipes column, some of the best ideas can simply be distilled down into the 140-character space normally reserved for a Twitter missive.

This week, Scott Howard shares a miniaturized version of his recipe for the pimento cheese he tops burgers with at his Corte Madera restaurant Brick and Bottle:

Scott Howard's Pimento Cheese

2 lbs white cheddar cheese, ¼ c. mayonnaise, 6oz dried pimentos, 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp ground pepper. Combine in a mixer until smooth.
