Saigon-Style Pop-Up

Where: "An industrial workshop in the Mission"; precise location to be tweeted (or e-mailed) the day of the event

When: Thu., Mar. 31, starting at 6 p.m.

The rundown: Katie Kwan (KitchenSideCar) and occasional SFoodie blogger Valerie Luu (Little Knock) are reprising the idea of the Vietnamese street-food pop-up they organized last month, this time with food that pays explicit homage to Saigon. The food can be packed up to go, or you can grab a plastic stool, Vietnam-style, and eat there. Where's there? Good question. It'll be in the Mission for sure, though you'll have to wait till Thursday to find out, via tweet, exactly where you'll be squatting and slurping. Get there early; the snail pho sold out quick last time.

Menu highlights: Handmade paté and charcuterie banh mi, snail pho, duck confit green papaya salad, imperial rolls
