The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco restaurant scene.

Sad news from Kasa: The Indian restaurant has closed its Marina branch, and the restaurateurs offer a sincere assessment of what went wrong. But the Castro restaurant appears to be in good shape, and chef Anamika Khanna is going to start cooking $20 prix-fixe dinners on Thursdays at The Corner (2199 Mission).

A Tablehopper exclusive: Perhaps inspired by the success of nearby Naked Lunch, Dario Zucconi, owner of the Vin Club, and Luella's Ben de Vries are opening a take-out window at Zucconi's restaurant called Eat Me at the Vin Club (515 Broadway, 314-5337, eatmelunch.com). They're shooting for Mar. 9. The pitch: creative pressed sandwiches and salads.

According to Urban Daddy, Craw Station (1336 Ninth Ave., 682-9980, crawstation.com), which is connected to PPQ Dungeness, has opened just in time for peak crawfish season. The pitch: Vietnamese-Cajun crawfish.

Inside Scoop reports that Bliss Bakery, a gluten-free bakery and cafe based in Santa Rosa, has secured a space at 1414 Castro in Noe Valley, after an Ashbury Heights location fell through. Owner Maria Balme hopes to open in early summer.

Eater SF spots a permit notice on Ragazza's window and learns that owner Sharon Ardiana is hoping the planning commission will let her open up the back patio for customers. That would be fantastic.

Tablehopper reports that Shanghai Dumpling King (3319 Balboa) has a new owner and a new chef.

Another Tablehopper find: Rinconcito Nicaraguenses (3161 24th St., 206-9411), a new Nicaraguan restaurant in the former location of Chavita's.
