Maybe you shook your print copy of SF Weekly today and something fell out? No, it wasn't a handbill for some, um, CEO massage from a backroom advertiser, or a half-off coupon for Tila Tequila Uncorked! No doubt it was Drink, the Weekly's annual bar and nightlife guide, which you can read online too, of course. ![]()
That's appropriate, since three of its four articles are by SFoodie writers: Beerista Jason Henry rounds up local nanobrewers and gypsy beer makers; Lou Bustamante writes about sharing a bowl ― a punch bowl that is, along with other suddenly trendy forms of open-source drinking; and Alastair Bland charts the new river of sake running through everything from a Saturday evening Off the Grid McCoppin satellite to Chotto in the Marina.
