Thanks to you guys, we made nearly $1,300 for a good cause.
Sunday's One Love bake sale at La Victoria is now no more than a memory, a cake box or two we forgot to compost (sorry, Jaime!), and a huge pile of cash. That's right: Thanks to the generosity of the 12 pastry shops who donated goodies, of La Victoria for hosting, and above all of SFoodie readers who made free with the green, One Love yielded nearly $1,300 for San Francisco City Clinic. That's just about the best Valentine's Day gift SFoodie can imagine. That, and maybe a fresh bottle of lube from Good Vibrations, which, okay, is TMI, even for us.

SFoodie readers endured long lines, and since you guys pretty much wiped us out in the first hour and a half, some of you had to endure disappointment, too. Our apologies. And major thanks to the bakers who made it possible: Mutsumi Takehara/Sandbox Bakery, Shauna Des Voignes/Knead Patisserie, Luis Villavelazquez/Les Elements, William Werner/Tell Tale Preserve Co., Dennis and Eloise Leung /DeLise Dessert CafĂ©, Jennifer Millar/Sweet Adeline Bakeshop, Megan Gordon/Marge Bakery, Lori Baker and Jeff Banker/Baker and Banker Bakery, Remy Lemoine, Brandon Arnovick/Mission Minis, Cheryl Burr/Pinkie's Bakery, and Remi Hayashi/Goody Goodie Cream and Sugar.

Click through the goodies via SFoodie's slideshow, produced by photographer Gil Riego Jr. and Web editor Andy Wright. Thanks again, everybody, and happy Valentine's Day!
