Looks like Secret Breakfast won't be a secret forever. Mission ice cream maker Humphry Slocombe has a contract with Chronicle Books for Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream Book, written by Slocombe's Jake Godby and Sean Vahey with the assistance of Inside Scoop editor Paolo Lucchesi.

Part tell-all, part cookbook, it'll combine 40 recipes for making Humphry at home, plus what Vahey calls "stories of our start, death threats, and the full behind-the-scenes of the good, bad, and ugly about Humphry Slocombe." Vahey and Frankie Frankeny will provide photography.

A specific publication date has not been set, but Vahey tells SFoodie the book should be out at the end of the year.
