A particularly American breed of rabbit.
With technical glitches resolved, SFoodie is finally able to present a few more Chinese New Year banquet menus we collected in Chinatown before the Year of the Rabbit began. Many thanks to Adobo Hobo's Ed Chui and his parents for doing the translations.

The above menu ― click on the image and you can download a PDF to print out ― comes from Chung King Restaurant, another of Chinatown's longstanding, family-oriented Cantonese places. Of the four dinners it lists, the $188 menu for 10 intrigues us the most:

Herb turtle soup
Sliced conch with pea sprout
Walnut shrimp
Ginger scallion lobster
Two pigeons
Sea cucumber with mushrooms
Virginia ham chicken
Steamed fresh sea bass
Sweet red bean soup

Chung King Restaurant: 606 Jackson (at Kearney), 986-3899.
