The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco restaurant scene.

The Chronicle breaks the news that, in preparation for the America's Cup, the port is kicking out Teatro ZinZanni and 76 other waterfront tenants. The dinner-theater spectacle has until the end of this year to find a new home.

Eater SF hears from Yamen Eltawil, owner of Palmyra (700 Haight), that his Lower Haight restaurant may open next Monday. The pitch: all-day cafe with Mediterranean bent, especially at dinner.

Inside Scoop gets its (uh, digital) hands on some of the architectural drawings of the Metreon renovation. Coming street-level restaurants: La Boulange BakeryBest-O-BurgerChipotleMixt GreensBrandy Ho's Hunan. New tenants in the expanded food court: Coriander Thai, San Francisco Soup Co., Saigon Eats, and So Green Yogurt.

Another Scoop scoop: Super Duper, the Castro burger spot run by the Starbelly team, wants to take over an existing Jack in the Box in Mill Valley (at 430 Miller Ave., to be exact), wrap it in solar panels, and keep the drive-through running. If the city approves, the burger joint will aim for a late summer opening.

Why oh why can't a food court have eateries that are not the same ones in every food court? This is San Francisco - you can do better!
