Nosh This was one of about 30 vendors at the last New Taste Marketplace.
Launched in November as a two-date pop-up to raise money for a Potrero Hill church and its food pantry, New Taste Marketplace has been greenlighted for monthly markets through summer. Organizer Elianna Friedman tells SFoodie over 200 shoppers showed up for the November market ― a fundraiser for Saint Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal church and its Food Pantry ― while more than 250 checked it out in December. "I was pleasantly surprised by the generosity of shoppers," Friedman writes by e-mail. "Both dates we raised over $800 for The Food Pantry and St. Gregory's."

The next New Taste Marketplace goes down Jan. 15, noon-5 p.m. Friedman expects to announce the vendor list later in the week.
