Sweet Jo's Leaves the JCC, the Lineup Lives Again

The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the
San Francisco restaurant scene.
In sad news for JCC members, Inside Scoop reports that Joanna Karlinsky and Victoria Smiser will be closing Sweet Jo's, their food court in the Center, in a few weeks. SFoodie has seen several cafes come and go at the JCC in recent memory. Karlinsky told Scoop she hopes to move the cafe ― and her amazing Meetinghouse biscuits ― to another location.
Leticia Luna tells Eater SF that she's planning on resurrecting The Lineup (398 Seventh St.), the bar she operated in the space for 26 years. (From 2005 to 2009 it was the Overtime Sports Bar & Grill.) She'll serve both Mexican and American food, and introduce a more serious cocktail program.
Just to correct an oversight: SFoodie has learned from contributor Tamara Palmer that Tasty Curry (1395 Ninth Ave.) closed at the beginning of December.
