Saratoga Chocolates Liquidates to Make Room for Ike's

Saratoga Chocolates will shutter its San Francisco retail location this week, with a final liquidation sale today and tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Expect to find all remaining confections priced half off ― even store fixtures are being hawked. There should be some great bargains, with gift boxes going for as little as $1 per truffle. Meanwhile, the chocolatier's retail store in Saratoga will remain open.

The 16th Street storefront is being taken over by embattled sandwich shop Ike's Place, which is returning very close to the spot where all the drama played out this year.
