Alice Medrich Talks Cookies at Omnivore Books
Why couldn't some honest book publisher just call Ulysses by James Joyce Man Walks Around Dublin, Thinking? So it would sound important, maybe? The publisher of the latest book by local chocolate maven Alice Medrich had no such pretensions. Medrich's tome about cookies is called, simply, Chewy Gooey Crispy Crunchy Melt-in-Your-Mouth Cookies (Artisan, $25.95). She'll be at Omnivore Saturday afternoon to sign copies and soak up your adulation.
