The past 72 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco restaurant scene.

The Ocean Beach Bulletin (via Grub Street) reports that the Devil's Teeth Bakery is moving into 2876 Noriega early in the new year. The pitch: coffee, pastries, sourdough bread, and "beignet Sundays."

Inside Scoop says that Rose Pistola owner Laurie Thomas has appointed Mark Gordon ― chef of her other two restaurants, Terzo and Rose's Cafe ― as chef of her flagship as well. And in mid-January, the 15-year-old restaurant will close for a few weeks to redecorate.

Live SoMa discovers the existence of M Cafe (1161 Mission, at Seventh St.; 650-771-8563), at the site of the short-lived SF Cafe. The pitch: breakfast and lunch fare, with a specialty in panini.
