Mushroom, left, and Maui fish tacos.
Folsom Pit Stop with The Taco Guys

Where: In front of Bloodhound, 1145 Folsom (at Seventh St.), 10 p.m.-2 a.m.

Cost: All tacos $5 each

Why it's likely to be special: Restaurant chefs turned taqueros Justin Close and Jason Hoffman are steering their truck to Bloodhound to cater a private party that night, but they'll be "semi-open," as Hoffman puts it, to the public. If you're out partying ― at the Club Dragon gay-guy bash next door at Club 8, say ― we reckon nothing will taste better

Menu highlights:
Tacos, tacos, tacos: Maui fish; Moroccan veal tongue with pickled okra and curry mayo; pork chile verde; mushroom; beef colorado with chayote-jicama slaw; Thai red curry chicken
