If you want a chance to suck up to some Food Network casting agents, get your gear ready for an audition this Friday. The show is called 24 Hour Restaurant Battle and Food Network's trying to get the message out to any "San Francisco foodies" with a three-hour weekday window to pursue fame's teat during an open casting call. From the casting agent's appeal:
We are looking for charismatic and outgoing two person teams with pre-existing relationships, who have always dreamed of running their own restaurant. Applicants may have lots of restaurant experience, no restaurant experience, or some combination of both. One member of the team will run the "back of the house" and one member will run the "front of the house". As a team they must have the skills to open and run their own restaurant!
Tips on auditioning at the 24 Hour Restaurant Battle site. Should be a breeze, compared with how hard it is to actually open and run your own restaurant.

24 Hour Restaurant Battle Audition
When: Fri., Dec. 10, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Where: Westin San Francisco, 50 Third St. (at Stevenson)
