Cereal for Dessert at Schweet Boks
"Cereal eatery" Schweet Boks in the Sunset has been open for nearly two weeks. The tiny space is reminiscent of a frozen yogurt shop, and it does offer low-fat yogurt parfaits, smoothies, oatmeal, and cereals with a wide variety of healthy and not-so-healthy toppings. We gravitated toward the latter, selecting a bowl of S'Mores: A mix of Golden Grahams and shredded wheat bits with chocolate chips, marshmallows, and chocolate syrup. We added way too much milk (soy is an option) and it got all chocolatey, which gave us a nostalgic moment of tween bliss. You can also customize your own take-home box of cereal with different selections of cereal and toppings ($6.49); there's also Intelligentsia Coffee and fruit-flavored hot chocolates.
