Oh, New York! Relentless in your pursuit of the Big New Thing! First to toss over last week's Big New Thing! You namers of fashions and bestowers of trend status, you (or at least New York magazine writers Robin Raisfield and Rob Patronite) have declared offal over and discovered the glories of vegetables:

Instead, we'd like to bestow a supportive smile of affirmation on your new passion. And when you vegetable-crazy Brooklyn foodistas decide you'd like to know how to cook that heirloom beet perfectly ... pay us a visit.
