The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco restaurant scene.

Eater caught on to a tweet sent around by Kevin Kroger announcing that he was no longer chef of Monk's Kettle, then stalked Kroger's blog and learned it was an amicable departure.

Eater also reports that Hana Zen Sushi and Yakitori is opening a second branch at Pier 39 (suite M209, 421-2101). The pitch: big space, small rolls.

Grub Street passes on word of a Thanksgiving promotion at a Market Street strip club: Bring a turkey, get a show. No word on whether said turkey should be raw or cooked, whether there's a minimum weight, or whether the club will only accept birds sealed in sterile plastic.
