Prospect Adds Brunch, The Summit Opens

The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the
San Francisco restaurant scene.
Prospect just sent out a press release advertising that the SOMA restaurant is starting up weekend brunch, featuring fried chicken and biscuits, plancha prawns with cheese and grits, and ricotta doughnuts. The first day for brunch is Sunday, Oct. 3, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., followed by every Saturday and Sunday.
And in case you didn't get the details from part 1 and part 2 of John Birdsall's interview with Chef Eddie Lau, The Summit (780 Valencia) opened yesterday. Eater SF posts a copy of the opening menu.
