NYT Cookbook Ultimate Potluck Draws SF Chefs and Mixologists

Former New York Times editor and current columnist Amanda Hesser will celebrate the release of The Essential New York Times Cookbook in San Francisco in just the right way, by hosting an "ultimate potluck cocktail brunch" thrown by SF Food Wars.

While SFFW is known for its lively culinary battles, this event is strictly about sharing cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and sweet bites adapted from the book by Mourad Lahlou (Aziza), Louis Maldonado (Aziza), Melissa Chou (Aziza), Elisabeth Prueitt (Tartine Bakery), Chris Kronner (Bar Tartine), Jennifer Puccio (Marlowe), Jacques Bezuidenhout (Fifth Floor/Kimpton), Morgan Young (Fifth Floor), Jake Godby (Humphry Slocombe), Sean Vahey (Humphry Slocombe), Christa Manalo (Beretta), Adam Timney (Starbelly), Richie Nakano (Hapa Ramen), Bridget Batson (Gitane), and Jennifer Musty (Batter Bakery). Omnivore Books will have a pop-up shop to sell copies of the book, and Hesser will gladly sign.
