Wednesday, Inside Scoop's Michael Bauer whipped out three favorites from a tour of Portland food carts: ginger chicken from Nong's Khao Man Gai, the cutlet sandwich at The People's Pig (pictured here), and goulash from Tabor Czech.

Um, really? Mr. Bauer has to go out of town to graze the carts? Could the Chronicle's food critic find three favorites from San Francisco's food trucks? Just saying.
