The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco restaurant scene.

Eater's Carolyn A. reports that Lin Jia Asian Kitchen (3437 Lakeshore, Oakland, 510-835-8322, Facebook page) is taking over the old L'Amyx Tea Bar.

And Scoop reports that Duncan Ley and Ben Bleiman, owners of Tonic and Bullitt, are taking over the Triple Crown (1760 Market) but keeping the name. Apparently the owners are going to "give a little hug" to the decor. SFoodie has seen decor-hugging in bars before, but it's usually followed by stumbling and effluvia.
