Lisette Titre missed the Jamaican food her family made in Florida, so she started Evil Jerk Cart to fill the void, selling items such as jerk chicken and pork and vegetarian "Ital" stew. Now Titre, who daylights as a senior character and special effects artist at Electronic Arts, is celebrating a year in business on the streets and at private events with a Halloween costume party on the Mission street that kick-started the folding-table movement. She'll be joined by fellow vendors Magic Curry Kart, Pearl's Kitchen, Sataysfied, Casey's Pizza, and Chile Lindo ― most of whom would be great inspiration for fun Halloween getups.

Evil Jerk Cart's One-Year Anniversary
