On Tuesday, Sundance Coffee owner Michael Ware told SFoodie that he was not closing his Dogpatch cafe, even though he shut down the Mission branch a week earlier without giving his staff any notice. Inside Scoop's Paolo L. notes a few chef arrivals and departures. The chef of Eos, Daniel Guerrini, is leaving after a decade. And Erik Hopfinger (yeah, the Top Chef guy) has joined Reza Esmaili, the new owner at Long Bar, to take on its food menu until Esmaili figures out what he wants to do with the Pacific Heights bar. And in addition to Deanie Hickox, the Daniel Patterson Group has brought on former Elisabeth Daniel chef de cuisine Ron Boyd to run the kitchens at its restaurants.
