The Presidio's Public Health Service District is gearing up for a "green" grand opening of its new residential apartments next week, an occasion it plans to mark with the help of some mobile vendors. Kung Fu Tacos, Lumpia Cart, Magic Curry Kart, Adobo Hobo, and Crème Brûlée Cart, several of which appear weekly at Off the Grid at nearby Fort Mason Center, will be on hand to help make for a festive day, which is really a large open house to show the public how this previously restricted area has been transformed into a slice of eco-friendly modern life. Citizens of the Marina and Cow Hollow, here's another good chance to taste street food without venturing into the Mission.
