Food Trucks Rolling Up to Bloodhound for Monday Night Snackdowns

Street-food vendors will rotate at Bloodhound's weekly Snackdowns.

​Starting next week, Bar Basic won't be the only SOMA tavern with a food-truck rotation. When the Ravens lock face masks with the Jets on Sept. 13, Bloodhound suits up for a new season of Monday Night Snackdown, this year with a mostly mobile dimension. Here's the preliminary schedule, though, like quarterbacks, there's a possibility some will be sidelined as the season advances (check Bloodhound's tweets for updates):

• First Monday of the month: Sam's ChowderMobile
• Second Monday: Kung Fu Tacos
• Third: Curry Up Now
• Fourth: Let's Be Frank

Also on Snackdown Mondays: $3 Black Star beers. Lovely, we're guessing, with a lobster roll. Not to mention taking the testosterone edge off. Grrr.
