SF Cocktail Week, Day 2: Farmers' Markets, Mixfits, and Bar Lit

Lou Bustamante
Last night: Under construction at the Boothby Center.
Last night's kickoff party at the Boothby Center (still very much under construction) was a total blast. Cocktail Week organizer the Barbary Coast Conservancy of the American Cocktail seized on the construction theme, with yellow hard hats and tornado lights. Steven Liles, Erick Castro, Kelli Bratvold, and Roberto Gonzales produced five different cocktails for the occasion.

Tonight's big event is the CUESA Farmer's Market Happy Hour. Always a great mix of cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, it's an especially appropriate way to celebrate both the start of autumn as well as tonight's harvest moon. To commemorate its 150th birthday, Campari is rolling out its fire-engine-red Negroni cart to the happy hour tonight ― we can only dream of an Off the Grid where we could legally run a pop-up bar we'd call The Drunk Truck.
