Save the Dates: S.F. Cocktail Week, Sept. 21-27
Since you probably only have a vague recollection of what happened at the last S.F. Cocktail Week, allow us to massage the portion of your brain that might still be soaked with alcohol. San Francisco Cocktail Week is a sprawling celebration of the city's cocktail culture, with seminars, demonstrations, competitions, bar crawls, something organizers call "historically inspired, booze laden, literary explorations," and parties. Oh, the parties!![]()
Kenn Wilson/Flickr This year's S.F. Cocktail Week promises to be the strongest to date.
Moved from May to September this year to avoid conflicts with the Manhattan Cocktail Classic, it promises to be a week you'll attempt to remember, especially with new additions Comstock Saloon, the Burritt Room, and Bar Agricole. Festivities commence at San Francisco's official new cocktail center, the Boothby, which will also serve as the Cocktail Week's hub. Events go down Sept. 21-27.
Although details are still mostly hazy, and much of the schedule is still to be announced, this year's lineup promises to be the strongest to date. Expect a reprise of both the CUESA farmers' market cocktail hour and the outdoor party at Epic Roasthouse, and events with the Bon Vivants, Cocktail Lab, and St. George Spirits. Clear your calendar now; we'll pass along details when they materialize.
