Sedate Us With Marky Ramone's Pasta Sauce

Categories: Palmer, WTF?

After almost a year of working on it in earnest, Marky, the last surviving Ramone, is taking his Marky Ramone's Brooklyn's Own Pasta Sauce to the next level. He's made it available for order ($88 per case, from markyramone.com).

"People I knew were like, 'Are you kidding me, you're a DJ not a chef!' And so I said, 'Why not?'" Marky told Manapare.us. "It always thrilled me to see my grandpa cook. I had always wanted to do it, and so I went for the opportunity. It was new and I like doing new things. I tested the waters first, and people really liked it, so I'm saying 'Hey, if you want more you can have it!'" He said he intends on donating proceeds to charities that benefit Iraq war vets.

Until FedEx arrives, you'll have to make do with Humphry Slocombe's Gabba Gabba Hey sundae (balsamic caramel ice cream with brownies and cherries) and Gobba Gobba Hey's gobs, tributes to a famous Ramones tune. Both should satisfy the urge to eat in honor of a legendary band.
