Lady Gaga Dons Meat Dress for The Gays
We already guessed that Lady Gaga loved meat after her recent reported visit to the Mission's Rosamunde sausage emporium. Eating meat is one thing for a best-selling singer to do. Wearing an outfit that looks like meat at last night's VMAs is causing the kind of controversy that's caused one site to title its report on the outfit: "Stop The Presses!"

Gaga draped herself head to toe (boots included) in a Franc Fernandez number that seemed to be made out of raw red meat. The explanation for this meaty-looking number is a definite head-scratcher. Gaga told confirmed vegan Ellen DeGeneres she wore the outfit in support of her gay fans who have served and been discharged under the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy, saying, "It is a devastation to me that I know my fans who are gay ... feel like they have governmental oppression on them. That's actually why I wore the meat tonight." The songstress added, "It's certainly no disrespect to anyone that's vegan or vegetarian," and, "As you know, I am the most judgment-free human being on the earth. It has many interpretations, but for me this evening, it's 'If we don't stand up for what we believe in, we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're gonna have as much rights as the meat on our bones.'" Lady Gaga also sported a controversial meat bikini for the cover of the new issue of Vogue Hommes Japan.
