The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco restaurant scene.

Inside Scoop and Eater SF both announced that Zut! (1820 Fourth St., 510-644-0444, www.zutonfourth.com) opened yesterday in the old Eccolo space. The pitch: Pan-Mediterranean bistro. Make of that what you will.

Carolyn A. of Eater SF has a talk with Kai Schoenhals and Daniel Isberg about the impending launch of Diamond Lil. The two owners drop some series nameage ― Charles Schwab, Thomas Keller ― and hint that they have two (two!) television deals in the works. If you want to check out the bustaurant, hit up the fall release party on Sept. 11 at A Donkey and Goat Winery, the Berkeley natural winemakers.

Marcia G. of Tablehopper announces that NOPA is adding brunch on Sept. 4. Bonus: they take reservations.

Jay B. at Grub Street learns of a possible Vietnamese-Cajun restaurant set to open in the Inner Sunset: Crawfish Station (1336 Ninth Ave.). The pitch: Here's some background intel on this national trend.

The guys behind Naked Lunch, the pop-up sandwich shop at Enrico's in North Beach, tell Food GPS they're hoping to open up a late-night pintxos restaurant in SOMA. (Thanks to Eater SF for spotting.)
