There'll be a new brew to mark Speakeasy's 2,500th batch.
Even though 21st Amendment didn't go off for its 10th anniversary a few days ago, that doesn't mean fellow SF Brewers Guild member Speakeasy Ales and Lagers won't. Tomorrow, visit the brewers where they work (and bottle) their magic in Bayview-Hunters Point. Head brewer Kushal Hall and the crew will have all the usual suspects (Big Daddy IPA, Prohibition Ale, Payback Porter, White Lightning Witbier, Double Daddy 2IPA), the seasonal du jour (Public Enemy Pilsner), and a new one concocted just for the anniversary ― Midnight Run India Black Ale (or is that Cascadian Dark Ale?) ― to commemorate their 2,500th batch of brew.

But the fun won't end there (though if you don't get there early, it may end before you start). From the cellar, small kegs of Betrayal Imperial Red Ale, Scarface Stout, and a version of Payback Porter infused with cold-pressed Ritual coffee will be available.

Live music inside the brewhouse will complete the mob.
