Four Barrel Coffee (375 Valencia, at 14th St.) is throwing itself a party for its two-year anniversary. A big one. There are balloons and cake, a photo booth and music, free coffee for everyone ― hence the line out the door ― and pony rides. (Thanks to
Broke-Ass Stuart for the tip-off.)

| The pony. |
You only have until 2 p.m. to ride the pony. It appears to still be fresh, primarily because of the size of the riders, who are in the 25-to-40-pound range. The free coffee lasts until 4 p.m., when, like most parents of two-year-olds, the exhausted staff put the kids to bed, sweeps up, and pull the bottle of whiskey out from under the sink.
