Chilli Cha Cha 2 Opening in the Mission

Looks like Chilli Cha Cha, the Haight Street Thai restaurant known for its fried noodles, is taking over the old China Fun Fast Food space at 3166 24th Street (at Shotwell). In early August, Mission Loc@l reported that China Fun Fast Food had closed a few months after the Department of Environmental Health shut it down (temporarily) for vermin problems.

When SFoodie called Chilli Cha Cha, the woman we spoke to said she wasn't sure when the new location would open. And if you're concerned about the vermin, just note: The Haight Street Chilli Cha Cha scored a 96 on its last inspection, receiving the department's symbol of excellence.
