Ajisen Ramen Opens at Westfield Mall
As SFoodie previously reported, Japanese fast-food chain Ajisen Ramen is opening its first Northern California branch in the Westfield Mall. Located on the Concourse Level, flanked by Panda Express and Rubio's, Ajisen should open for business tomorrow, Aug. 18, according to a manager busy conducting staff training.

From what we could discern, the menu variety promises to be extensive: more than a dozen types of ramen, the same number of appetizers, half a dozen rice plates, and a full page of made-to-order beverages, including fresh fruit drinks, shaved ice, and iced coffees. Personally, we're thrilled about the convenient location, just a hop from BART's Powell Street station.
