Pal's pulled pork.
The U.S. Postal Service wants to make it impossible for you to get a Netflix copy of New Moon delivered on a Saturday, but on 24th Street in the Mission, you'll soon be able to get house-cured Kobe pastrami on rye. Starting July 17, the sandwich guys at Pal's Takeaway are planning to open Saturdays. Same hours as weekday Pal's (11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.), same daily changing menu (three sandwiches, one of which might or might not be that Kobe pastrami, one or two salads), same pristine ingredients and attention to detail. And if Pal's ever decides to revive its Criterion Collection of premium creations, seriously, who needs
Jacob's abs?
