Is Tom Pizzica the Next Guy Fieri?
Tom Pizzica, an unemployed self-proclaimed "chef on sabbatical" living in San Francisco, is repping our region on the sixth season of the television series The Next Food Network Star, which premiered last night. The program, you'll recall, brought the world the bleached blond antics of Guy Fieri (who won season two). Pizzica, a California Culinary Academy alum, faces 11 other contestants in a battle to win their own Food Network show.
