Soul Cocina's Roger Feely Leads Indian Cooking Class at Jharna's Kitchen

​One of the most exotic places on Roger Feely's resume includes a year spent as a chef/instructor and consultant in Goa, India. He'll draw from that experience, as well as his street feats here as Soul Cocina, in his upcoming Indian cooking class. It's a collaboration by Feely and another instructor, West Bengal native Jharna Mookherjee (aka Auntie Jharna), under their Jharna's Kitchen banner. Students will learn how to make Auntie Jharna's chicken kofta meatball with mint chutney, saag paneer, chicken curry with cumin rice, and sabudana vada tapioca and potato fritter with curry leaf, coconut, and apricot sweet and hot sauce. And because Auntie Jharna and Feely seem to favor instant gratification, the class will be followed by everyone sharing a big meal (lunch + supper = lupper?) together.
