Andrew Zimmern to Film Bizarre Foods in San Francisco

Andrew Zimmern is shooting an episode of his eat-anything Travel Channel series Bizarre Foods in San Francisco, according to a blog post from forageSF's Iso Rabins, who's been asked to participate. A commenter to Rabins' blog stated that Shirley Fong-Torres of Wok Wiz tours has also been approached to guide Zimmern through Chinatown, but it appears that neither has made a commitment.

This city isn't likely to have the strangest bites that Zimmern has ever eaten. But he'd do well sampling local treats like 4505's Zilla Dog, foie gras ice cream sandwiches from Humphry Slocombe, the Ritz-Carlton's Lincecum, and balut pâté crostini from Intramuros.
