Ghirardelli Uncorked Tasting a Benefit for La Cocina
We don't often take visiting relatives' word for it, but seriously, there is more to Ghirardelli Square than shivering sunburned tourists, killer views, and scrumptious sundaes. At next weekend's La Cocina-hosted wine festival Uncorked, Ghirardelli might be the perfect place for food-and grape-loving locals and visitors to mingle. ![]()

Saturday's Uncorked event is technically free, though there's a $50 ticket price if you'd like to actually taste the wines. Proceeds benefit Mission business incubator La Cocina. Expect wine seminars by Cellar360, along with chef demos (Arthur Wall of Garçon! in the Mission, Matt Paine of nearby McCormick & Kuleto's, and Joanna Karlinsky of Sweet Jo's) and live music. Ticket info below the fold.
