Way back in January, SFoodie embarked on an epic eating spree. As a long prelude to SF Weekly's Best of San Francisco issue, due out May 19, we compiled a list of our 92 favorite things to eat and drink, revealing one each day, our own sprawling edible advent calendar.

The effort taught us a lot, like that a $60 Fast Pass is totally worth it, and you should never permanently 86 your fat jeans. And we realized, once more, what an amazing town this is for lovers of the nosh.

Today, we relive our 10 favorite sweets from SFoodie's 92, standouts remarkable for technical skill or evocative tastes or simply the way they reminded us of being kids, from our favorite handmade cookies at Piccino to the lovably clunky It's-It. Consider the list that follows (arranged in no particular order) a sweet reward for our months of intensive eating. Er, research. Grab a spoon and meet us after the jump.
