​Sure, "morning food" is harder to nail down than a seat at Dottie's. Its range: From the 7 a.m. Dynamo doughnut to the 2 p.m. Sunday Caesar at Zuni. The favorites we've excerpted here are from our soon-to-wrap SFoodie's 92 project ― a daily countdown of our 92 favorite things to eat and drink around here.

The following morning food top 10 are the things we crave not long after slipping from the sheets, when we're at our rawest or most logey. One caveat: It comes with an annex ― namely, parts of Monday's roundup of the city's 10 best sweets, in which we proclaimed our love for the chocolate beignets at Arlequin, and the cornmeal cherry-rosemary doughnut at Dynamo ― both would be fine additions here.

So now that the day and your caffeine regimen are both well on, skim the following pages and plan your weekend accordingly. You know you won't be able to focus tomorrow, when 9 a.m. rolls around.
