Chocovision: Time-Lapse Art from Michael Recchiuti
We're pretty mesmerized by "Eat the Paint," a creative project by artist Mark Alsterlind and chocolatier Michael Recchiuti for the nonprofit organization Food From the Heart. The eight-hour process of composing edible art has been time-lapsed into less than four minutes. No stranger to playing with chocolate in different mediums, Recchiuti has also fashioned Lara Croft-esque haute couture out of cacao for the annual Chocolate Show in New York.
He's also quite the triple threat, since he also composed the original music in the video with pal Jim Fairchild. Read more about this project on Recchiuti's blog.
