American Grilled Cheese Kitchen a Finalist in Small Business Competition, Hopes for May Opening
SFoodie editor John Birdsall reported in January that new South Park eatery the American Grilled Cheese Kitchen was aiming for a March opening, but a recent tweet from owners Nate Pollak and Heidi Gibson indicates that they are now hoping for a May start date. In the meantime, AGCK is a finalist in VerticalResponse's 'New Deal' for Small Business contest, which will award $5,000 to the winner and $2,500 to second and third places, as voted by the public.
