​Amy Sherman of Cooking With Amy recently interviewed Bay Area Olympic and World Figure Skating gold medalist Brian Boitano about his street-food adventures, wine preferences, and Food Network series What Would Brian Boitano Make? It's a funny and insightful look into the culinary style and chops of the champ as Sherman keeps Boitano on his toe picks by asking what he'd make with left-field ingredients that might intimidate the average home cook, such as sardines. Boitano:

I like sardines! I would do [a] little remoulade and probably grill them but fried is good too. Those are the two ways I like serving fish, grilled or fried. I like to cook it on the skin side and so it gets all crispy.
