Mission Street Food Halfway to Its Funding Goal
Last month, we told you about Mission Street Food's efforts to become a full-time restaurant, with proprietor Anthony Myint attempting to raise money through the Web site Kickstarter. MSF is now about halfway to its goal of raising a minimum of $10,000, but if it hasn't lined up pledges of at least that amount by May 5, Kickstarter will fail to fund the project.![]()
Jesse Friedman/Beer & Nosh Anthony Myint needs pledges of at least $10K by May 5.
"Things are all going according to planned so far," Myint has written at the MSF site, "and our project will get off the ground if we can hit the baseline target of $10,000, but our actual goal is $25,000 so we can afford the kind of equipment that will make the food really shine."
For anyone interested in investing, the time to act is now; a minimum pledge of $50 will earn you a gift certificate in that amount to eat at MSF at a later date.
