Meanwhile, the Perbacco Web site announces another kind of takeout service: catering platters of Staffan Terje's salumi.
The platters cost $5 a person, include condiments, and come sized for 10 ($50), 15 ($75), and 20 ($100) people. To order, call Perbacco at 955-0663; the Web site claims the cooks only need a "short time to prepare this for you," but be reasonable, people: At minimum, give them half a day so they're not slicing off their fingers in order to rush your mortadella to you. And definitely insist your platter include slices of the fennel-pollen-scented finocchiona.
