Diamond Lil Almost Ready to Start Serving Meals on Wheels
As reported by Grub Street, roaming meals will soon be served aboard Diamond Lil, a 1957 Greyhound bus that's been restored by Free Range Dining, a team that's emigrated here from Poland and plans to open a (static) restaurant in Hayes Valley in the future. In April, Diamond Lil will kick off with a barbecue, where folks can "get stuffed" on a Cuban "pig box," veggie paella, and herring. Sounds like a recipe for rocking 'til the wheels fall off. Details after the jump.![]()
