From the Dept. of Bacon: Good Foods Catering Announces All-Bacon Dinner

Dontaye Ball of Good Foods Catering, a staple of the Alemany and now Stonestown farmers' markets, has gotten such good feedback on his addictive, thick-cut, house-made hickory-/applewood-/cherry-smoked bacon that he's planning an all-bacon dinner to showcase it. He's also hit up street-food pals Slow Jams, WYD Bacon Potato Chips, and Sour Flour for more bacon-y ingredients and accompaniments. Ball told SFoodie he will entertain selling to-go packages of the complete bacon dinner if his two seatings sell out. Menu and event details after the jump.

Menu:

First course:
•Micro bacon griddled cheese sando with a "bacon-flour min soup" and Bill's WYD Bacon Potato Chips

Second course:
•Salad of grilled romaine, Good Foods house-made bacon, avocados, shaved cheese, and herb sherry dressing

Third course:
•Seared smoked pork belly and clams with chickpeas, wild arugula, and bacon dust

Fourth course:
•Slow-roasted pork shoulder with long-cooked bacon greens with bacon jus

Fifth course:
•Cornmeal and bacon waffle with bourbon ice cream
